IRDP National / International Award Categories - 2026

  1. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Life Time Achievement International / National Award for outstanding Performance in Teaching: Applicants for this award must have a minimum three (3) years of experience in teaching or, teaching and research position equivalent to Assistant /Associate / Professor at the University, College or Accredited Research Institution with a minimum five (5) publications.
  2. Srinivasa Ramanujan Life Time Achievement International / National Award for Innovations in Research: Applicants for this award must have a minimum two (2) years of experience in research with a minimum three (3) publications. The applicants should have a track record of research and innovation work.
  3. Sir C. V. Raman Life Time Achievement International / National Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum two (2) years of experience in any field with at least three (3) publications and any achievement in their life.
  4. Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Life Time Achievement International / National Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum five (5) years of experience in any field with at least three (3) publications. They should have any remarkable achievements / copyright or patent / published or recognized innovative work.
  5. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Life Time Achievement International / National Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum four (4) years of experience in any field with at least five (5) publications in National / International level. They should have any remarkable achievements / received any Awards in their life. The Applicant must be a M.S. / Ph.D. holder.
  6. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Reformer International / National Award for outstanding Research Supervisor: Applicants for this award must have a minimum ten (10) years of experience in teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to Assistant / Associate / Professor at the University, College or Accredited Research Institution with a minimum ten (10) publications and supervised more than three (3) candidates for M.Phil. and / or Ph.D.
  7. Best Young Researcher International / National Award: Applicants for this award must have registered for or awarded Ph.D. in any branches of Sciences, Technology, Medicine or Social Sciences (enclose a copy of the registration/Award). They should have published at least two (2) research papers in refereed National/International journals and presented papers in two (2) National/International Conferences. The maximum age limit to apply for best young researcher is 31 years.
  8. Best Young Teacher International / National Award: Teachers working at Colleges/Universities/Schools are welcome to apply for the Best Young Teacher Award. They must have at least two (2) years of teaching experience. The maximum age limit to apply for best young teacher is 28 years.
  9. Best Young Scientist International / National Award: Aspirants working at any Organization/Institution/College/University are welcome to apply for the Best Young Scientist Award. They must have at least three (3) years of Research experience, good number of publications and innovations in publications. The maximum age limit to apply for best young scientist is 30 years.
  10. Best Researcher International / National Award: Applicants for this award must have registered for (or) awarded Ph.D. in any branches of Sciences, Technology, Medicine or Social Sciences (enclose a copy of the registration/Award). They should have published at least two (2) research papers in refereed National/International journals and presented papers in two (2) National/International Conferences.
  11. Best Teacher International / National Award: Aspirants working at Colleges/Universities/Schools are welcome to apply for the Best Teacher Award. They must have at least five (5) years of teaching experience.
  12. Best Scientist International / National Award: Aspirants working at any Organization/Institution/College/University are welcome to apply for the Best Scientist Award. They must have at least five (5) years of Research experience, good number of publications and innovation in publications.
  13. Best Research Supervisor International / National Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum seven (7) years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant /Associate / Professor at the University/ College or Accredited Research Institution with a minimum ten (10) publications and supervised more than three (3) candidates for M.Phil. and/or Ph.D.
  14. Teaching and Research Excellence International / National Award : Applicants for this award must have a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to Assistant/Associate/Professor at the University/ College/Accredited Research Institution with a minimum fifteen (15) publications.
  15. Life Time Achievements National / International Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum twenty (20) years of experience in teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to Assistant / Associate / Professor at the University / College / Accredited Research Institution with twenty (20) publications. Applicant must receive any fellowship/Award or grant and supervised more than five (5) candidates for M.Phil. and / or Ph.D.
  16. Industry Expert International / National Award : Applicants for this award must have a minimum ten (10) years of experience in any Industry with good track records.
  17. Best Librarian International / National Award: Applicants for this award must have a minimum five (5) years of experience in library field at any University/College/School/Accredited Research Institution with a minimum one (1) publication.
  18. Best Student Achiever International / National Award: : Applicants for this award must have remarkable achievements in education, sports, or any other co-curricular or extra-curricular activities at any level.
